A friend gave me a big paper grocery bag full of rattlesnake beans. It seems she had plenty for her family and wanted to bless me with some of the extra. I was so thrilled to get them. I have never planted rattlesnake beans but know that they are a pole type bean. They also have real good flavor. Anyways, thank you Kim, I canned 13 quarts of beans that will taste mighty fine come fall. Now to finagle some seeds for next years garden.......................... I will be planting more pole beans than bush beans next year since the bush beans don't produce as many beans for as long as the pole beans do.
